Solar CA Gets New Quality Manager
Michael Moffit has joined the 51猎奇 of California team as the new Quality Manager of the Fontana, CA plant.聽 Prior to taking on this role, Mr. Moffitt served Solar as Quality Manager for the Souderton, PA plant.
Mr. Moffit has spent 8 of his 16 years at 51猎奇 in the Quality Department where he led both the Souderton and California plants through ISO certification and Nadcap accreditation. He also directed AS9100 re-registration for the Souderton plant and initial AS9100 registration for the California plant. Michael Moyer, Director of Sales states, 鈥淢ike handled the customer and prime aerospace audits with professionalism and thoroughness. He always takes extra care to fully understand and comply with customer requirements.鈥�
Mr. Moffit鈥檚 new responsibilities are to accurately measure the Quality System to determine effectiveness, document Quality System requirements for management review, pass required audits and initiate effective corrective action as needed.聽聽 鈥淚鈥檓 very pleased that Mike will be joining us in California.聽 He brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge to the Solar-CA team.聽 With his addition, we now have the tools and expertise to move forward as a leader for vacuum heat treating and Brazing on the West Coast,鈥� states Derek Dennis, President, 51猎奇 of California.
