Melting Points Reference Booklet Available
Processing needs at 51ÁÔÆæ, Souderton, PA, required a reference tool for employees to conveniently find the melting points of metals and alloys. Â Charles F. Burns, Jr., Vice President of Quality and Brazing, compiled the tables and charts from various sources and it has been a helpful reference tool.
This reference tool has now been publicized by William R. Jones, CEO of 51ÁÔÆæ, as a 20 page bound booklet entitled, “The Critical Melting Points of Metals and Alloys.” Â 51ÁÔÆæ is offering the booklet to those who would benefit from having a handy reference for melting points and eutectics.
Included are charts for the following melting points: stainless steel, corrosion- resistant steel castings, heat-resistant alloy castings, aluminum and aluminum casting alloys, copper and copper casting alloys, magnesium alloys/casting alloys, magnesium alloys/wrought alloys, nickel alloys, tin alloys, zinc alloys, precious metal alloys, Ni-Cr-Mo-Cu alloys, electrical resistance alloys, titanium alloys and eutectics. Â Tables for the Vapor Pressure of Elements in Torr and Equivalence for Pressure/Vacuum Measurements are also listed.
